Gaziantep University (GAUN) 100th Year Oncology Hospital and Radiotherapy Center was opened with a ceremony attended by Gaziantep Deputy Mayor Zehra Ünal. This new hospital, which is an important step in the health sector, will make a great contribution to the people of the region with advanced services in the field of cancer treatment.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, GAUN Rector Prof. Dr. Arif Özaydın emphasized the contributions of the hospital to health services in the region and the importance of the latest technologies in the field of oncology.
GAUN 100th Year Oncology Hospital has an area of 5,500 square meters and consists of four floors. While there is a Radiotherapy Center in the basement, there is a Daily Chemotherapy Center equipped with 50 chemotherapy chairs for 50 people and a special chemotherapy chair for 5 people on the ground floor.
Clinics are located on the first and second floors. There are 8 double rooms, 6 single rooms and a palliative care unit for 8 people on the first floor, and 8 double rooms and 6 single rooms on the second floor.
