FOLDING SIDE RAILS

The ST 27 Stretcher is equipped with folding side rails that retract below the mattress surface. They eliminate the gap between the stretcher and the bed during patient transfers and ensure maximum patient safety when raised, and retract completely under the mattress for zero-gap transfers when down. With the side rails covering almost the entire length of the stretcher, the risk of falls is minimized, the operation is smooth and quiet, and the improved design reduces the risk of hand entrapment.
